Important dates that will impact traffic and parking availability in New Brunswick. Please take into consideration when planning your trip into the city.

 

Alternate Side Street Parking In Effect April 1, 2010 through October 31, 2010

In case of snow emergency residents may park cars within the Ferren Daily, New Street and Church Street Garages while emergency is in effect. (Refer to Parking Locator)  Proof of New Brunswick residence must be presented at time of exit to avoid being charged a fee  Proof of residence includes resident permit decal, vehicle registration or drivers license showing New Brunswick address. All vehicles must be removed by 8AM the next day unless emergency is still in effect.

No Change? No Problem! The New Brunswick Parking Authority is pleased to announce its new NBPA Smart Card. The NBPA Smart Card will make it easier to park on-street at a meter. No more looking for change! Simply purchase a card for an amount of $10 to $100 dollars* and you are all set. Slide the Smart Card into the card reader at the meter and the desired time you wish to pay for is deducted from the card. The best part is the card is rechargeable so when your balance is running low, just bring it in and get it reloaded.  Call for additional information or stop by the NBPA Administrative Office and purchase your Smart Card today!
